Reaction to The Most Beautiful Things
I, Summary
The short movie I chose to summarize and react is The Most Beautiful Things made in 2012. The story is written about change of a man's life.
私が要約し反応する短い映画は、２０１２年につくられた”The Most Beautiful Things”です。
この物語は、一人の男性の生活の変化について書かれています。
I, Reaction
1. Plot
The main character in this story is a man who goes to a university and he spend boring every day. However, one day, he meet a women who can't speak at a university. From the day, his life changed. They talked by a letter with a notebook and pencil instead of talking by using a voice. They spend it together every day so they make friends. One day, he had saw she was with a man he didn't know. Because of that he kept distance with her. However, he knew it nisundersting so he dicided to confes to her. Finally, his confession succeeded. The story is happy end.
この物語の主人公は大学に通う一人の男性で、彼は退屈な毎日を過ごしていました。しかし、ある日大学で、言葉を話すことのできない一人の女性と出会います。その日から彼の人生は変わりました。彼らは声を使って会話する代わりに、ノートとペンを使って文字で会話をしました。彼らは毎日一緒に過ごすうちに仲良くなりました。ある日、彼は彼女が知らない男と一緒にいるところを見てしまった。そのせいで彼は彼女と距離を置く。しかしながら、のちにそれは彼の勘違いであったとわかったので、彼は彼女に告白することを決心する。 最後に、彼の告白は成功した。 この物語はハッピーエンドである。

A man: He goes to a college, but he spend boring days at first. He is a maincharacter of this story, and he is nagative.
男の人：彼は大学に通っていますが、最初つまらない日々を送っています。彼はこの物語の主人公で、消極的な性格です。
A woman: She has a disease so she can not speak. Her character is cheerful.
女の人：彼女は病気を抱えているので話すことができません。彼女は明るい性格です。
3. Theme
I think the theme of this story is how can you change the life through love.
私は、この物語のテーマは恋愛を通してどのように人生を変えることができるかということだと思います。
4. General Opinion
I thought this story gave us courage, becauseafter I saw this story, I knew that if you intended to change your boring life, you could change it by myself. I felt it was important to challenge everything.
私は、この物語は私たちに勇気を与えてくれると思いました。なぜなら、この物語を見て、もしつまらない人生を変えようと思えば自分自身で変えることができるのだということが分かったからです。私は、あらゆることに挑戦することは大切だと思いました。

Reaction to The Elevator
I. Summary
The short movie I chose to summarize and react is The Elevator made in 2010.
The story is written about the situation of the people is taking the elevator.
私が要約して反応する短い映画は、２０１０年に作られたエレベーターという映画です。
II. Reaction
1. Theme
The movie shows it what kind of thing harms another person by using the situation in the elevator as a example. I consider the above sentence and I think the theme of this movie is the importance of paying attention to another person.
2. Plot
At first, a man is taking the elevator alone. When he is taking the elevator alone he feels comfortable inside of the elevator, because inside of it is large. However, the people increase more and more as the elevator goes up on the top. Unfortunately, all the people getting on the elevator are very fat so he dicides that he minds quanitity of capacity and goes down.
3. Character
A man: He is middle age. His body is slim.
Another person: Their body is too fat.
4. General Opinion
I saw the movie, I thought it was not good to trouble other person, because to trouble made them uncomfortable. I intend to be careful not to trouble another person.

Reaction to Peter Rabbit Synopsis
I. Summary
The short audio story I chose to summarize and react is Peter Rabbit by Biatrix Potter.
This was the story which was written about situation of one day when Peter Rabbit got into mischief.
私が要約し、反応する短い音声の物語はBiatrix Potterによって書かれたピーターラビットです。
これは、ピーターラビットがいたずらをしたある日の様子について書かれた物語です。

Peter Rabbit goes out McGregor's farm by himself while his mother goes a market. When he ate some vegetable at her farm he was saw the scene by McGregor.
After that, Petter Rabbit could run away from there but he was ripped his clothes by McGregor. Finally, his clothes which were ripped by her became scarecrow's clothe in her farm.
ピーターラビットはお母さんが市場に行っている間に、一人でマグレガーさんの農場に出かけました。彼がその農場でいくつかの野菜を食べていると、彼はその光景をマグレガーさんにみられてしまいました。そのあと、ピーターラビットはそこから逃げることはできましたが、マグレガーさんに洋服をはぎ取られてしまいました。最終的に、マグレガーさんにはぎ取られた彼の洋服は彼女の農場にあるかかしの服になってしまいました。

To get into mischief is bad thing, but I think it is important to experience both bad thing and good one. This is because, we can understand things we must not do.
いたずらをすることは悪いことだが、私は悪いことと良いことの両方を経験することは重要だと思います。なぜなら、してはいけないことを理解することができるからです。

Reaction to The Selfish Giant
Ⅰ, Summary
The short story I chose to summarize and react is The Selfish Giant.
This was the story which was written about growth of the selfish giant's heart by the garden he had and children.
私が要約し、反応する短い物語はわがままな巨人という物語です。
これは、彼の所有する庭と近所の子供たちとのかかわりによって成長していく巨人の心について書かれている物語です。
Ⅱ, Reaction
1, Plot
The salfish giant have the beautiful garden, which there are many plants, so children go school near the garden use to play there while the giant stay with his friend for seven years. However, when he come back home he say the children not to play in his garden. Because of that, spring don't come in the garden. After that, the selfish giant's heart changes little by little and he allows the children to play in the garden. Finally, spring come in the garden again, and the selfish giant die with surrounding by many plants.
わがままな巨人は美しい庭を持っていて、そしてそこにはたくさんの植物が植えられているので、巨人ののをの近くの学校に通う子供たちは巨人が友達のところで７年間過ごしている間その庭であそんでいた。しかしながら、彼が自分の家に帰ってきて、こどもたちにこの庭で遊ぶなといいました。子供たちが来なくなったことにより、巨人の庭には春が来なくなりました。そののち、わがままな巨人の心はすこしずつ変わり、子供たちが庭で遊ぶことをゆるしました。最終的に再び巨人の庭に春が来て、わがままな巨人はたくさんの植物に囲まれてしにました。

3,metaphor
I think metaphor is used in this story, because when children played in the garden the plants bloomed, but spring have not came since children didn't play there. I thought the phenomenon as if human emotion.
私はこの物語に隠喩が使われていると思います。なぜなら、子供たちが庭で遊んでいるときは植物が咲いていましたが、子供たちがそこで遊ばなくなってから春が来なくなったからです。私は、この現象がまるで人間の感情のよう思った。
4, General Opinion
When the children played in the garden, plants bloomed. However, when the children didn't play there, plants didn't bloom. From this, I thought plants were glad to see them so plants could bloom beautiful flowers. I thought it was intersting that the auther showed plants like a human.
子供たちが庭で遊んでいたときは植物がさいていました。しかしながら、子供たちがそこで遊ばなくなってから植物が咲かなくなりました。このことから、わたしは、植物は子供たちに会うことがうれしかったので美しい花を咲かせることができたのではないかと思った。わたしは、この物語の著者が植物を人間のようにあらわしていることが面白いと思った。

The short short story I chose to summarize and react to is Poisoning Mother-In-Law.
Seemingry we think the story likes mystery from the title. However the fact, this was the story which was written about the bond of mother-in-law and her daughter li-li.
私が要約し、反応する短い短い物語は、母を毒殺することという物語です。
一見、この物語はタイトルからミステリーのようにおもってしまいます。しかしながら実際、これはお母さんであるイン・ロウとその娘であるリ・リの絆についてかかれた物語です。

・In-Law: She is Li-Li's mother. I think her character is fastidious and egotistic
イン・ロウ：彼女は、リ・リの母です。彼女は口うるさく自己中心的な性格だと思います。
・Li-Li: She is In-Law's daughter. I think her character is easy to become emotional.
リ・リ：彼女は、イン・ロウの娘です。彼女は、感情的になりやすい性格だと思います。
・Li-Li's husband: I think his character is quiet and fainthearted.
リ・リの主人：彼は、静かで気の弱い性格だとおもいます。
・Mr. Huang: He sell herbs. I think his character is calm, and he is very smart.
ミスター・ハング：彼は、ハーブを売っています。彼は、落ち着きのある性格で、とても頭がいいと思います。
2, Plot
Li-Li and her mother are not true parent and child. At first, their relationship was very bad. However, herbs which Mr. Huang gave Li-Li as a poison changed their relationship better. And finally, Li-Li loved In-Law like her own mother, and In-Law did Li-Li like her own daughter too.
リ・リとイン・ロウは実の親子ではありません。最初、彼女たちの関係はとても悪かった。しかしながら、ミスターハングがリ・リに毒として与えたハーブが彼女たちの関係をより良い方に変えた。そして最終的には、リ・リはイン・ロウを実の母のように愛し、イン・ロウもまたリ・リを実の娘として愛した。

I thought symbolism of this story was herbs which Mr. Huang gave Li-Li. That was because the herbs was item which improved relationship between In-Law and Li-Li.
この物語の象徴的表現は、ミスターハングがリ・リに与えたハーブだと思います。その理由は、そのハーブがイン・ロウとリ・リの関係を改善したアイテムだったからです。
4,General Opinion
By having read the story, I felt it when we could change the situation that was good or bad how we contacted a partner. I thought it was important to sympathize about a partner.
この物語を読むことによって、人は、相手に対してどのように接するかによっていい状況にも悪い状況にも変えることができるのだと感じた。私は、相手を思いやることは大切だと思った。

Reaction to The Owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear
Ⅰ. Summary
The poem I chose to summarize and react is The Owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear. The type of this poem seems to be narrative poetry because it seems to tell a story which the owl and the pussy cat marry.
Ⅱ. Reaction
1. Character
・The Owl: He sang for the girlfriend with looking up to the stars above so I thought he was romantic.

★They love each other.
↓
・The Pussy Cat: She dicided marring to listen his sweet song so I thought she was pure.
・The Piggy: He gave the owl and the pussy cat a ring so I thought he was very kind.
・The Turkey: He gave them himself for dinner so I thought he was generous.
2. Personification
In this poem, they went to sea by using a boat, and there was the owl which was playing guiter and singing a song. Thease actions looked just like a human, so we can know that a personification was used in the poem.
3. Connotation
I thought that the piggy had a ring was important character, because a ring is to play a role to join twe together on marring.
4. General Opinion
An auther expressed love story with animals not a human being, so I felt it was very pretty. However, a scene which they took a ring away from the piggy's nose is grotesque.

The poem I chose to summarize and react is The Owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear. The type of this poem seems to be narrative poetry because it seems to tell a story which the owl and the pussy cat marry.

Reaction to A Red, Red Rose by Robert Burns
Ⅰ. Summary
The poem I chose to summarize and react to is A Red, Red Rose by Robert Burns.
The type of this poem seems to be lyric poetry because it seems to tell a feelings of him. We could feel his feelings to someone who he loved.
Ⅱ. Reaction
1. Imagery
This poem uses peacefull imagery. in the poem, there are the repetition of words several times so it sounds rhythmical. However, this contents give us sad impression.
2. Metaphor
In the poem, a metaphor is used by changing his love to red rose. By changing his love to red rose, it seems that he expresses his passionate love.
3. Connotation
The author writes it in this way in the ends of the poem, " And fare thee weel, my only Luve, And fare thee weel awhile! And I will come again, my Luve, Tho' it ware ten thousand mile." We understand that he must say his love good-by for some reason, so the poem give us and his pain and vanity.
4. General Opinion
The poem made me sad, but I could understand his feelings to his love very well.
